The offer for the Blue Cash Preferred® card from American Express and the Blue Cash Everyday® card from American Express is no longer available.
Amex just released a new welcome bonus for the American Express Blue Cash Everyday® card that can earn you $ 200 after spending $ 1,000 on purchases within the first three months of opening the account.
The previous bonus was worth up to $ 300, but required you to spend primarily on Amazon to qualify: 20% off Amazon.com purchases (up to $ 200 off) and $ 100 off after spending $ 1,000 in purchases on your new card, all within the first six months of opening the account.
While the new offering is worth less money, it’s more ideal for consumers who don’t shop on Amazon.
Beyond a generous welcome bonus, the Blue Cash Everyday card is our best grocery rewards card with no annual fee. Cardholders get 3% cash back at U.S. supermarkets (up to $ 6,000 per year in purchases, then 1%), 2% cash back at U.S. gas stations and select department stores US dollars and 1% cash back on other purchases. See prices and fees.
If you have never had the Blue Cash Everyday card, you are eligible for the welcome bonus. here are the eligibility rules:
The welcome offer, introductory APRs, and introductory plan fees are not available to applicants who have or have had this card. We may also take into account the number of American Express cards you have opened and closed as well as other factors in making a decision on your welcome offer, introductory APRs and eligibility for introductory plan fees. .
So if you have already had the Blue Cash Everyday card, you cannot earn the bonus. If you’ve never had the card, Amex might still consider how much American Express Credit Cards you have and other factors, which means that the chance that you can win the welcome bonus is decided on a case by case basis.
The Blue Cash Everyday card is a great choice with no annual fee for maximizing cash back rewards at grocery stores, but if you want to earn more rewards, consider the Blue Cash Preferred® card from American Express. There’s an annual start-up fee of $ 0 for the first year, then $ 95, but you’ll earn double the amount of rewards at the grocery store: 6% cash back at US supermarkets up to $ 6,000 per year in purchases (then 1%).
